Everton 1 Chelsea 1 highlights 29/1/11

Chelsea are on the up and up of late. With a disastrous slide which was at it's worst between October and December, in their last three matches they have scored 13 times and the likelihood of the season bearing fruit with trophies looks more likely. Drogba and Anelka are back to their usual exploits in front of goal alongside Florent Malouda and are turning things round as a formidable force. The London blues have not conceded since Jose Bosingwa’s 5th-minute own goal in the 1-0 loss to Wolves in early January and with David Moyes sides strikeforce stuttering in front of goal, The toffeemen will hae to graft to be able to break down the champions when they visit Goodison Park.

The crux of Everton's dour displays this season are all sourced back to that mishap with lacking the firepower up front in games. They have only scored 14 goals at home all season, almost as much as what Chelsea have merely netted in their last 3 matches. Tim Cahill has been the top marksman in front of goal for the club but with him away on duty with Australia, their reliance will rest on the exploits of Jermain Beckford and Seamus Coleman to fire Everton into the 5th round. The match takes place at Goodison Park and kicks off at 12:30pm.
