Tottenham haven't been able to get three points from United since May 2001 so they will be wanting to wipe that record from their mind as they prepare to meet the league runners up from last season at White Hart Lane. They certainly have never had a better chance since May 2001 with Spurs stringing a series of fantastic performances together with a high level of consistency which sees them in the 5th place in the league, 8 points away from United, and their most promising team for a long time. United are on a proud run of form at the moment and have still not lost a league match thus far, but if anyone has the ability to change that it's spurs.

Whereas Man United have been churning out results this season, a lot of the time it has been done without a high level of performance and have often produced results clinically with 1 mere goal more than the opposition. Last week United got a result but did it despite going through the motions in the game after an early lead and dismissal for Liverpool giving them an advantage. United will want to start performing with high quality and comprehensively beating sides as the styles of the sides over time have always shown. The match takes place at White Hart lane and kicks off at 4:10pm.
