Spurs open the campaign against Everton at White Hart Lane and will be hoping for a higher place finish than they managed last term, which started with so much promise and ended on a decent yet unspectacular finish, achieving a europa league place in a 5th place finish. They also had fantastic displays in the champions league and will want to be back there next season with a top 4 finish this season. Everton finished near the top end of the table and will want to get at least get a repeat of that finish this term.
