United's first home game and real test of the season will be against high flying Spurs who after the last 2 seasons have hopes risen with a fine crop of players who have been producing the goods in big matches and lifting the spirit of the white hart lane who are desperate for the club to start bringing in more silverware like in the heady days of the early 80's and 60's. United will be hoping for some dazzling displays from new boys Ashley Young, David DeGea and Phil Jones who will all be raring to please Sir Alex and show their worth for the team.
